In line with General Practice across the country, we are experiencing a huge number of calls currently, far greater than anything we have ever experienced before. We apologise that patients are struggling to get through to the practice by telephone, we appreciate this is incredibly frustrating and are doing our best to increase staff answering phones as well as also trying to increase the staffing who are undertaking the practice admin which has also at least tripled since February.
Staff are doing their very best under extremely challenging circumstances to answer the phones and the front door as quickly as they are able. Patients may want to consider using the website to ask questions to Doctors, Nurses or the Reception staff or request test results or information. This may be a useful way for you to get the information you need without needing to wait on the telephone.
Flu appointments can also be booked via Patient Access if you have an active account. If you don’t have an active account you can register without ‘a letter’ from the practice and it will allow you to book one appointment, which means you can book a Flu appointment this way assuming you have had the letter or Text from the practice inviting you in.
