Enhanced access
We offer some early morning (from 7:10am to 8am) and late evening (from 6:30pm to 7:50pm) extended hour appointments as well as appointmetns with a GP most Saturdays. Please ask reception for further details via our managing your health or admin queries online function or call the practice .
Nurses also provide extended hours, although these vary. Currently, we provide early morning appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as late evening appointments on Wednesdays.
Hub appointments on weekends
We are able to book appointments on the weekend with GP’s and Nurses, on Saturdays at the Nelson Health Centre and Wide Way medical practice and on Sundays at Wide Way medical practice only. These are an extension of our services here at Francis Grove and can be booked up to a week in advance.
There are some things the hub GP’s cannot see, but receptionists will be able to advise if your issue can be seen at the hub.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
